Farm Needs Assessment

Aloha mai kākou, we Kanu Ka ‘Ike, in partnership with Mālama I Ke Ola Health Center and Hui No Ke Ola Pono are surveying the farming landscape from the perspective of a Kanaka farmer. We want to identify the needs of local farmers to brainstorm actionable steps to provide support. Local agriculture and our farmers are essential to community solutions for food insecurity that we hope to address with innovative and collaborative programs. We hope to see the system move forward in a mindset that encompasses true stewardship of our land, natural resources, and kanaka maoli. E Kanu, E Ulu, E Ola, e Ho’ola Mau.
